Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Mission Khaki Android application and website. By installing or using the app, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

1. The app and our status

  • Mission Khaki is an independent, privately developed application created for exam preparation.
  • We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or connected to the Indian Army, the Ministry of Defence, any Police force, the Staff Selection Commission, UPSC, or any CAPF (including CRPF, BSF, CISF, ITBP and SSB), officially or otherwise.
  • The use of exam and organisation names in the app is descriptive only, to tell you what the app helps you prepare for. All names, logos, emblems and related trademarks belong to their respective owners, and nothing in the app implies their endorsement of us.

2. No guarantee of success

The app is a study and practice tool. We make no promise, representation or guarantee — express or implied — that using it will lead to selection, shortlisting, a particular rank, or any specific result in any examination. Your performance depends on many factors outside our control.

3. Content accuracy

  • We work hard to keep questions, exam patterns and eligibility information accurate, but content may contain errors or become outdated.
  • Exam patterns, syllabi and marking schemes change. Always verify notifications, eligibility, syllabus, dates and results on the official websites of the respective recruiting bodies before you apply.
  • We are not responsible for any loss or inconvenience caused by relying on app content without such verification.

4. Accounts and responsibility

  • The app is intended for users aged 13 or above.
  • You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials (Google, email or phone) secure and for all activity under your account.
  • You must provide accurate information when creating an account.
  • We may suspend or terminate accounts that misuse the app, as described in the sections below.

5. Free tier and ads

  • Mock tests and core features are free to use.
  • The free tier is supported by advertising served through Google AdMob. Ad content is provided by third parties and is beyond our control.
  • We may change, add or discontinue features of the free tier over time.

6. Premium — one-time purchase

  • Premium is a one-time purchase (see the current price in the Google Play listing; it may vary by region due to taxes). It unlocks Grand Mocks (full-length 100-question papers) and study notes for life — it is not a subscription, and nothing is billed to you again.
  • Purchases are processed by Google Play Billing. Your premium access is tied to the Google account you purchased with; reinstalling the app restores access on the same account.
  • Refunds: we do not manage refunds directly. Refund requests are governed by Google Play’s refund policy — contact Google Play Support for any refund or billing issue.
  • If the app is removed from Google Play, premium content remains accessible while the app continues to be available for existing users; we are not liable for losses after permanent delisting.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • copy, scrape, reverse-engineer, or redistribute the app or its content, in whole or in part;
  • share answer keys, test content, or accounts with others for bulk or commercial use;
  • use the app to cheat, fabricate results, or undermine any examination or recruitment process;
  • represent yourself, or allow the app, to be official or endorsed by any government or defence organisation;
  • use the app in violation of any applicable law.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access (including premium access) if you breach these Terms or misuse the app. Sections that by their nature should survive — including Sections 2, 3, 9, 10, 11 and 12 — remain in effect after termination.

9. Intellectual property

The app, including its design, code, question bank and notes, is owned by us or licensed to us, and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Exam names referenced in the app are the property of the respective organisations and are used descriptively. These Terms do not grant you any right to use our name, logo, or content for your own products.

10. Disclaimer of warranties

THE APP AND ITS CONTENT ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE ERROR-FREE, UNINTERRUPTED, OR THAT ALL CONTENT IS COMPLETE, CURRENT OR ACCURATE.

11. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT WILL MISSION KHAKI OR ITS DEVELOPERS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES — INCLUDING LOSS OF DATA, OPPORTUNITY, OR INCOME — ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF, OR INABILITY TO USE, THE APP. OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY TO YOU UNDER THESE TERMS WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR PREMIUM, OR THE MINIMUM AMOUNT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, WHICHEVER IS GREATER.

12. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Assam, India.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date above and, where practical, notify you in the app. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
